We, the undersigned, call upon the Government and the NHS to recognise and integrate Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) practices into the NHS framework. The inclusion of CAM therapies, which encompass a diverse range of practices including naturopathy, acupuncture, homeopathy, and herbal medicine, is essential for providing comprehensive healthcare that addresses the holistic needs of patients.

- Recognition and Integration:

- Integrate CAM therapies into NHS services to offer patients a broader range of treatment options.
- Funding and Resources:
- Allocate funding to support CAM practices and research within the NHS.
- Provide resources and training for NHS staff to understand and appropriately refer patients to CAM services.
- Public Awareness and Education:
- Launch public awareness campaigns to educate the public about the benefits and availability of CAM therapies.
- Include CAM information in NHS health education materials.
- Policy and Regulation:
- Develop and implement policies that support the safe and effective practice of CAM within the NHS.
- Establish regulatory frameworks to ensure the quality and safety of CAM services.
